DIY Makeup Remover

Coconut Oil!
Yes, this stuff!
I've found this works really great for removing even waterproof mascara. Be careful not to get it in your eyes. Supposedly, it helps your lashes grow longer and thicker as well.

DIY Shave Gel

Use conditioner when you shave instead of shave gel .

If you have really sensitive skin like me, this will leave you with a silky smooth shave and little or no razor burn. This also works really well for the hair down there and will leave less bumps and burn, too, because of the added moisturizer in conditioner.

I love it because I can buy the cheap 70 cent conditioner and it lasts a while and I'm finding it's way more effective and much better on my skin than the $4 shave gel, anyway.

Swimsuit season is here so give it a try and let me know what you think!

Have You Had Your 6-Second Kiss Today?

Described by Dr. Gottman as “long enough to feel romantic,” the six-second kiss serves as a temporary oasis within a busy day (ex: going to or from work).

Greeting your partner with affection communicates their importance to you while reminding them of the good feelings you share when you’re in each other’s company.

Our “rituals of connections are crucial,” because they serve not only to re-establish the connection with our partners, but also to protect our relationships from betrayal. “The parting and reunion [moments] turn out to be really important,” asserts Dr. Gottman. Attention spent on each other in transitional junctures communicates that “you’re important to me, and when you come back at the end of the day, it’s an event. You matter to me.”
