love is a many splendored thing! (sorry i've been listening to the moulins rouge soundtrack!)....love is knowing that you're in it for the long haul and that the person you love is too.
love is my husband laying beside me in bed at 3 in the morning while i'm in the middle of a four hour nervous breakdown rubbing my back and whispering, "it's ok, just breathe, i love you," over and over. even though he has to be up at 6 the next morning for work. even though this is the fifth night in a row.
"When we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love." One of my favorite quotes.
Love is hard work, Love is not always liking the person but always respecting them, Love is putting their needs in front of your own. Love is HARD but so worth it :)
Love is my husband taking our new puppy out every four hours all night long the night after he had his wisdom teeth removed, just because I had to be at work at 6:30 the next morning.
Love is feeling so glad you married your husband and not someone else who just doesn't get you! Love is knowing that you were meant to be with that person and it's forever and endless.
Love is a rock that keeps us gives an anchor while somehow letting us fly.

ReplyDeleteLove is an illusional state of mind that can give you butterflies, make you or break you... But it's a beautiful thing when shared by two people.
ReplyDeleteLove is putting your spouse's needs before your own, sacrifice, giving, sharing... becoming one.
ReplyDeleteLove is making an effort to be happy and to do everything to make those you love be happy too. Love is more than a feeling it's an action.

ReplyDeleteLove is ignoring the urge to get bugged when he leaves the toilet seat up.

ReplyDeleteLove is the ultimate
ReplyDeleteLove is making his lunch every day (my choice, not at his request) and smiling when I see he made the bed before he headed out the door to work.
