Sex is messy business. Clean it up with baby wipes! Quick, easy, disposable, and fresh. Keep a box in your bathroom to freshen up after the deed is done.
That is actually a really good idea ... I never thought of baby wipes! I usually just end up using toilet paper, which is sometimes less-than-effective.
I bought a bunch of small hand towels (black - just so I know which they are), that stay in our bedside drawers. I always kinda struggled with this end of it all until we came up with this solution.. Hate to have to run to the bathroom!
I made flannel wipes that have fire flames on them. They are ultra soft on my Gorky parts, do not have any chemicals, and are environmentally safe. I just pop them in the washer when I do a load of towels. And if I wanna get hubby excited, I'll throw one in his backpack in a place he'll find it while he's at work. Then he can't WAIT to get home!!!
I've heard baby wipes are unsafe to be used down there. But I know of some sex stores that offer something very similar but don't have the same harmful chemicals that can mess with your PH balance or something. not sure if its true, but I'm too paranoid of having a UTI or something to find out! Anyone else ever heard of this?
we use hand towels, usually the last one to get naked is the one who has to go get them, when we are too spontaneous we have used pillow cases, discarded clothes, and even a robe! Whatever to clean up is fine with us! I like Karen's idea to use special wipes to send a "message".
We actually use them, and have used them ever since we've been married. So nice and easy, and leave no mess. I mean no mess of the tissue when it rips.
don't want to be a stick in the mud, but how can wipes be unsafe for your lady parts when we use them on babies (who have MUCH MUCH more sensitive parts than we do). anyways. we've been using wipes FOREVER, well since we've been married
The whole thing about baby wipes causing UTI's is something they tell you to sell you their more expensive wipes. The problem sex stores will tell you that baby wipes have is that they contain alcohol. If we use them on sweet little babies girly parts, wouldn't they get UTI's because of them too? I told my doctor my reasoning, and she said i was right, baby wipes are totally safe. If you're worried about it, Target sells store brand feminine wipes that don't contain alcohol --and they're much cheaper than what you can get from Slumber Parties or other sex shops.
I keep a box of playtex wipes in a discreet plain white box on the toilet back but I LOVE the idea of special flannel wipes and definitely keeping things by the bed so we don't have to get up!

ReplyDeleteI use baby wipes that can be thrown into the toilet afterwards. It works like a charm.

ReplyDeleteWe just use tissues and then run to the bathroom to throw it away. Or a towel and then wash it. It is messy!

ReplyDeleteWe've been calling them "That won't be a baby, wipes" But they make after so much better and cleaner.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! Like April, I just use a whole lot a toilet paper.

ReplyDeleteMake sure to get unscented if possible, b/c the baby scented ones are kind of unsexy!
