A Romantic Bedroom

A friend once told me great advice to "Just focus on keeping one room clean because after that it's just too overwhelming- especially after having kids." I tend to focus on the bedroom (and the kitchen). It's nice to have a place to just relax and feel calm.

  • Less is more. Keep it simple and clean.
  • Go to the dollar store and get some tea light candles and rose petals and perhaps some sheer sheets to hang over or around your bed
  • Organize all of your stuff in ways that work for you
  • Have some fun with the sheets
  • Clean it regularly
  • Make the bed every night before you get in bed

  1. I am recently married, When we were engaged we bought our first bed for the new house. My husband (then fiance) was adamant that the bed have "tie points." I didn't know exactly what he was talking about but we finally found a bed with four distinct posts and several vertical bars in between.

Since we've been married I have come to fully understand how important tie points are. :) We tie each other up regularly and tease each other to sexual heights we could never attain without being bound. It's a lot of fun and I'm glad I have the perfect bed for my romantic bedroom.

  3. The white bedroom is delicious. I just want to roll around in those sheets with socks on and a great book. I think your friend is dead-on about the one room thing. I clean one room at a time-- northwest corner to southeast. I easily get overwhelmed. How To Be A Dirty Girl
