Maybe you could do a post on hygiene tips "down there" for ladies?

I received this comment the other day and thought it best to be a collaborative effort. So, do tell girls, how do you keep yourself fresh and clean where the sun is not seen?
Dove soap (not the liquid but the lather from the bar). It isn't too drying. Trimmed but not shaven.
ReplyDeleteBrazilian bikini wax! Mild soap and exfoliation everyday.
ReplyDeleteThis is SO TMI but after I get out of the bathtub, I use the blow dryer (and now that I've typed that it sounds naughty but I really do mean the generic hair dryer!) I do this whether I'm 'clean shaven' or not. Making sure there is no excess water on my skin in that area helps.
ReplyDeleteSHAVED!!! Feminine wash everyday in the shower.
ReplyDeleteBaby powder helps too...keeping you ooo so fresh!
Aubrey, What kind of feminine wash?
ReplyDeleteMaybe TMI, but using the bathroom right after sex so things don't get stinky in there. Does anyone else find this helps?
You know the new bikini trimmer that's been on tv commercials the last little while? It's green and white, by Schick I think? It works fabulous!! I haven't used the actual "trimmer" yet, but the razor is great!
ReplyDeleteSummer's Eve Feminine wash for sensitive skin every day...LOVE that stuff.
ReplyDeleteI keep it shaved and try to go without underwear around the house to "air out", lol.
ReplyDeleteafter i shower and wash up, sometimes i will spritz some perfume on my underwear.
ReplyDeletei love that little schick trimmer! it's perfect for in the shower. also i have heard it's good to use the restroom after being intimate because it helps to flush out the area thus avoiding a uti.

ReplyDeleteI love this blog post! It has lots of great tips, and the reader comments are great too.
cotton underpants make a difference too - helps you breathe and all
ReplyDeleteWash there every day. I usually rinse off in the shower before we "get down" too.
ReplyDeleteA and D ointment after I shave. I used to get brazillian bikini waxes, but its not in my budget right now. A and D keeps the ingrown hairs away...completely!
ReplyDeleteTwo words: Brazilian Wax!! Exfoliating once a week helps & the daily washing routine which is a must* also helps.
ReplyDeleteShaven and I used Summer's Eve Feminine wash for sensitive skin every day. It smells good and also good for after your cycle too keep the oder away. They have a spray too and wipes you can use say after the gym. Also go to the bathroom after the hippity hoppity and wipe front to back!
ReplyDeleteI use antibacterial body wash in the shower(most fancy body washes aren't!) and use baby wipes to keep it fresh pre and post sex.
ReplyDeleteBliss Bikini Trimmer, frequent exfoliation, cotton underwear, peeing within an hour after.
ReplyDeleteI just use the same organic soap that I wash the rest of me with (I like Zumbar), cotton panties (and I don't sleep in underwear ... it helps air things out). Peeing right after sex also decreases the incidence of yeast infection, especially if you're prone to those.
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda shocked at all these ladies using soap on their lady bits! I hope we all know that soap is only for the outside!
ReplyDeleteOrganic soap, exfoliate, trim, cotton panties, and peeing after sex is a MUST.
Scott natural wipes and a Brazillian, no undies at night. Agree that soap can = yeast infections so be careful.
ReplyDeleteI dont sleep with underwear either. I use after shower powder and keep it trimmed short but not shaven.
