Mother's Day is a great day to celebrate womanhood whether you have children or not.Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day!
I'm hoping to be able to relax a bit and not have to worry too much about cooking, cleaning and/or children.
Did you get or do anything special for Mother's Day? What's your idea of a thoughtful gift?
I am not a big gift person, myself so what I did this year is ask my 4 kids (all under 10) to create a page for me. It could be a drawing, a poem, a letter, whatever they liked. Then, I bought a scrapbook to put them in with the hopes that for every occasion they will add a new page and in the future I will have a collection of their work, reminding me of them when they were young as well as having a progression of their work. I know it is something that I will treasure.
ReplyDeleteMy children all made me cards and brought me breakfast in bed. Hubby got me a cookbook I have been drooling over for months now!! :) Went on a drive after church and discovered an amazing little beach where we got our feet wet and just relaxed while watching my children enjoy themselves! :)
